At the eighteen affiliated teaching hospitals associated with Harvard Medical School, graduate education programs are available in every specialty and subspecialty of medicine and surgery. Because we have so many institutions offering graduate medical education programs, this site is designed to direct you to the individual programs of your interest. For some training programs, such as orthopaedic surgery, a single graduate training program exists common to all the affiliated hospitals. For other programs, such as internal medicine and general surgery, each affiliated hospital has its own independent training program. You will be able to tell at a glance how graduate training is organized at Harvard Medical School for the specialty of your interest.
